The Mummers’ Parade & Join
6th January Manorhamilton starting at 7pm
The Mummers’ Parade takes place this Saturday 6th January in Manorhamilton Co. Leitrim as we celebrate the end of the mumming season for another year. Come join us by dressing in disguise. Meeting at The Bee Park Community centre from 6pm & parading for 7pm. Spread the word!
A free bus will travel for people wanting to take part in parade. It will then bring you to the party and return home again afterwards. Pick up times and locations below 🚌
Following the parade we will have The Mummers’ Join - a party with music, song and dance for the mummers. If you sowed the oats in Spring or helped harvest in Autumn, made a straw hat, became a mummer this Christmas or even answered the door to the mummers on your doorstep, no matter how big or small your role was in the project you are invited to the Mummers’ Join. Keeping with tradition, the location of the Mummers’ Join will remain a secret until the 6th. Come to the parade and we’ll tell you the location of the party which we’ll all be travelling to following the parade.
Please book your place by emailing sowingtheseedireland@gmail.com or text 0861649989 with your pick up location and number of seats needed.
