Call out on RTE Radio 1

In November 2021 Edwina put a call out on the Ray Darcy Show on RTE Radio 1 for someone to help the group learn to make sign chairs and hens nests as it was proving very difficult to find someone to pass on these skills. Thanks to Ray’s help we found Sean Walsh from Co. Clare who gathered a group of us together in Leitrim in February to make the chairs. It was a great success! We also found a wonderful man from Clare Island that makes hens nests and hope to learn the skills from him this summer. In the meantime, Ray invited us on the show to share our story of Sowing the Seed and try on some of our hats.
